Apna Scientific Supplies is the fountainhead of the apna
group activities, having started its operation about a quarter
of a century back. As a start up company, ASS was involved
in supplying chemicals and glassware to small time laboratories
and schools. It was a learning experience to the forays
made later.
As Industrialisation was picking up speed, so were the researches
and laboratories looking for a reliable supplier for their
needs. Apna was at the forefront providing an unflinching
and dedicated service within its ambit. The real growth
in terms of Apna's portfolio was more driven by the customer
need. The satisfied customers wanted us to provide a many
of their needs as possible, driven by their necessity of
having a reliable vendor in the face of endless stream of
fly by night operators. A seed of an idea was germinated
in our minds. Our target was set as to become a one-stop-shop
for all Laboratory needs.
The subsequent years saw us doing just that - trying to
master all the lax areas in the Scientific Laboratory field
and provide a superlative services and products in that
area.
Today years after experimenting with different models of
operation, ASS is strongly moving towards the direction
of amalgamating all its laboratory activities under its
single roof by merging all other related activities. We
now have gained the expertise in a few specific areas apart
from the general laboratory services. We are now more focused
on Providing Solutions to the Lab technicians and Scientists
than just being a vendor of materials.
