The Apna Group of Companies attributes the last 25 years of success to people and their contributions great and small. It has spared no effort to ensure that people, both - within and associated with the Group, get their fair share of dignity, respect, opportunity, encouragement, and kudos. This said Apna has extended the ideology of its Founder, the Late Mr. C Desappan which was to touch lives while continuing the business of providing solutions. The Group's humble boast is the Apna Foundation, through which it works to give back to society.

Already underway are projects involving regular interaction with marginalized communities, special groups, provision of employment opportunities to the circumstantially challenged, scouting and honing obscured talent, and so on. They also have established contact with little known and exploited village craftsmen and tribal artists, and helped create avenues for socioeconomic development.

In the not-so-distant future the Foundation envisages a schooling facility for the children of families living below the poverty line, children of poor laborers - any child that deserves an opportunity. The faculty would include eminent academicians in various disciplines, who share the vision of the Apna Foundation. An osmosis of sorts, the idea is to close the chasm between the haves and the have nots.
